Obesa cantavit! (the fat lady has sung!)
Prima donna has made THE entrance, only this isn't the stage of La Traviata or Puccini...
After some absent-minded musings on Microsoft Word, blog reading and getting showered by rants, I've finally decided to make an entrance into the world of BLOGS ;). My personal website would have to wait till I sorted out what goes on between the HT and the ML.
To begin, I'm dedicating my Blog to all dreamers out there. Here's one of my favourite composition written to me by my 13th-Jan Romanian friend ;)
**Translated from the words of Hermann Hesse** (tell me if you have the original)
"On the long road that leads from fish, bird and apes to the animal of our days that we call human,
on this long road, at the end of which we hope to become Gods,
it wasn't the normal ones that the pushed us ahead, step by step.
The normal ones were always conservative, prefering secure healthy things.
A normal lizard would have never thought of flying.
A normal ape would have never thought of leaving the trees and walk on the ground.
The one who first tried that were the dreamers, the poet, the immortal among the lizards and apes.
The normal ones are designed to preserve an existing form, a way of life, a species,
to protect her and to strengthen her in order to strengthen themselves.
But the dreamers dare to leap, to dream the unthinkable as maybe one day the lizards may become birds, the apes may become humans and human may become....Gods"
